Thomas R Barber

Thomas R. Barber, age 65, died Monday March 1st at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Carole L. (Hanson) Barber with whom he shared 7 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn he was the son of the late George T. and Frances L. (Mckeigue) Barber. Tom attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, Class of 1974. He was employed as an Environmental Specialist at the Chelsea Soldiers Home and then at North Shore Medical Center in Salem. He was a member of Connery Post #6. Tom enjoyed bowling, lounging with Carole in their pool, and all New England Sports Teams. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Thomas R. Barber, Jr. of Lynn, two daughters Jillian F. Barber of Beverly, Rachael and her husband Eric Mathieson of Lynn, one brother Edward and his wife Deborah Barber of Lynn, one sister Theresa and her husband Paul Osgood of Derry, NH, three grandchildren Riley, Issac and Owen Smith all of Beverly, and several nieces and nephews.
