Obituary

Sean P. Stevens, age 53, of Saugus formerly of Lynn, died Wednesday July 12th at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a brief illness, with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Lisa Marie (Tempesta) Stevens with whom he shared 23 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn he was the son of the late James Stevens and Sandra (Svenson) Crane. Sean attended Lynn schools, and received an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Art from Newbury College in Boston. Sean was a chef at the Hilltop Steakhouse in Saugus and several other North Shore restaurants until he retired several years ago. He enjoyed Kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, and was an amateur photographer. He loved to watch his grandson, Kaden, play hockey, and spending time with his family both at his home and at Jenness Beach in Rye, NH. He also loved his two English Bulldogs Luna and Bella.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters Bryanna McGeoghegan and her fiancé Jake Warren of Salisbury, Christina Stevens of Lynn Sandra Stevens of Lynn, two sons Cory and his wife Cheyenne Eaton of Peabody, Andrew Comeau of Nahant,  four grandchildren Kaden, Isabella, Raiden, Haven, and Christian. He was also the brother of the late James Stevens, Jr.

Service Details: A celebration of Sean’s life will be held at Jenness Beach in Rye, NH later this summer or early this fall to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please make memorial donations in Sean’s memory Saugus Animal Hospital 300 Broadway Saugus, MA  01906.
