Paul J. Doucette, age 72, of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Lynn died Sunday February 28th at Mass General Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Lori Ann (DeMontier) Doucette with whom he shared 32 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn he was the son of the late Roger and Rose (Katz). He attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1966. Paul joined the
U. S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was employed as an inspector for the M. B. T. A. for many years until he retired in 1992. Paul lived in Lynn until moving to Seabrook in 2008. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding his 2010 Road Glide. He also enjoyed golfing and hiking in Lynn Woods.
IN addition to his wife he is survived by one son Keith Doucette of Milton, two daughters Jaime and her husband John Simonian of Orlando, FL, Renee and her husband Bill DiThomas of Swampscott, three brothers Roger Doucette of Lynn, John and his wife Lee Doucette of Lynn, Roy and his wife Marie Doucette of Exeter, NH, one sister Janice and her husband Scott Fessenden of Lynn, four granddaughters one grandson, and many nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Brian Doucette.
Service Details: Paul’s visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn, on Monday March 15th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
