Nadia L. (Dyer) Fall

 FALL, Nadia L. Age 88, of Peabody, formerly of Lynnfield, died Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the Brudnick Center in Peabody. She was the wife of the late Harold R. Fall, Jr., with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. She is also survived by four daughters: Cynthia L. Fall of Lynn, MA; Vicki Alberti and her husband David of Plympton, MA; Donna Lamb of Groveland, MA; and Laura Thorpe and her husband John of Boxford, MA; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dyer of Westbrook, ME; four grandchildren: Diane, Kimberly, Corey and Erin. Nadia had numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was the mother-in-law to the late Kenneth L. Lamb, Jr. and the sister of the late Chandler Dyer.

Born in Danvers she was the daughter of the late Chandler W. and Dorothy (Bates) Dyer. She attended Danvers schools, and graduated from Danvers High School, Class of 1949. She was a member of the Lynnfield Community Church. She was a Hospice Aide while she lived in Lynnfield, and a hospice volunteer when she resided in Florida where she was named #1 volunteer. Nadia was very accomplished at knitting and sewing and had a love for ocean cruising with her husband and family. She supported her children and grandchildren by volunteering at 4H, Rainbow Girls, Campfire Girls and the Girl Scouts.

Nadia had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed great food and live entertainment and enjoyed frequenting buffets with her husband.  She relished the small things in life.  Time with her daughters, sharing a glass of white zinfandel while belly laughing were among her favorite memories. Nadia loved animals of all creation, especially cats.  Nadia was not fond of the cold climate so enjoyed 25+ years of active retirement in Florida with her soul mate Harold
