Obituary
Mary P. Thistle, age 56 of Lynn, died unexpectedly Saturday Dec. 24th at Salem Hospital. She was the wife of Harvard L. “Sam” Thistle. Born in Chelsea she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Skinner) Burns. She attended Lynn schools.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons Patrick Burns of Missouri, Matthew Thistle of Lynn, Shawn Thistle of Lynn, one daughter Mary Thistle of Lynn, five brothers Timothy Burns of Lynn, Michael Burns, John Burns, David Burns of Lynn, Steve Burns of NH, three sisters Karen Spillman of FL, Roeanne Corcoran of NY, Anna Burns of Lynn, and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Albert J. Burns, Jr., and Walter “Sonny” Burns.
Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Sunday, Jan. 1st from 1:00 – 3:00 PM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
