Mary Elizabeth (Surette) Perez

Mary E. Perez, age 52 years, of Lynn died Saturday Feb. 18th at her home, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Pedro Perez with whom she shared 36 years of their life together, married for 28 years. Born in Patuxent River, MD she was the daughter of the late John E. and Rose M. (Barrows) Surette. She attended schools in Lynn. Mary was employed as a bookkeeper for S & A Auto Supply in East Boston until she retired. She enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, needlepoint, watching movies, baking and antiquing.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son Peter T. and his wife Amanda of Lynn, one daughter Inosencia Perez of Lynn, one brother John E. and his wife Kerri Surette, III of Lynn, one grandson Nicholas T. Perez of Lynn, one niece and one nephew.

Service Details: Mary’s visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Thursday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM to which relatives are invited to attend. Please make memorial donations in Mary’s name to the American Cancer Society.
