Margaret “Peggy” E. Paulavich, age 93, of Lynnfield died unexpectedly and peacefully Monday April 1st at Sunrise of Lynnfield. She was the wife of the late William Paulavich with whom she spent 40 years of marriage.
Born in Peabody, Peggy was the daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Barrett) Connolly. Peggy attended Peabody schools. She was employed as an inspector at Champion Lamp Works in Lynn for many years until she retired in 1988. From Peabody she moved to Swampscott and resided in Swampscott for 50 years until moving to Salem in 2004. In 2023 she moved to Sunrise of Lynnfield. Peggy enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She was kind, generous and a loyal friend to many.
She is predeceased by her brothers Philip Connolly and William A. Connolly. She is survived by her stepdaughter Mary Dukehart of Thousand Oaks, CA, sister-in-law Eileen Connolly of Beverly, a niece Alana Mitchell and her husband Eric of Hamilton, a nephew Jeffrey Connolly of Middleton, and her great niece and great nephew Julia and William Mitchell of Hamilton.
Service Details: A visitation will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Tuesday April 9th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, and a burial in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please make memorial donations in Peggy’s name to the American Heart Association.
