Marcia Lorraine (Kelly) Bethune

Marcia Lorraine Bethune (Kelly), age 83, passed away on July 31, 2023 in Sarasota, FL. She was born on November 25, 1939 in Lynn, MA. Marcia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She dedicated many years of her life as a stay-at-home mom before returning to work as a secretary and cashier in the retail industry.

Marcia had a passion for spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards and bowling, always bringing joy to those around her. Her warm and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Marcia is survived by her loving children: Paul & Karen Bethune of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. David & Wanda Bethune of Lynn, MA, Stephen Bethune & Lori Williams of Lynn, MA, Lisa & Daniel Marshall of Sarasota, FL, Lloyd Jr & Kristie Bethune of North Port, FL, and Sister Judith Lloyd of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. She also leaves behind 27 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd Bethune Sr, her parents Ralph & Geneva Kelly, daughter Diane & son-in-law Dean Mivshek, and grandchildren Matthew & Brittany.

A Memorial Gathering of friends and family will be held at Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St, Lynn, MA 01902, on August 18, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A private family-only ceremony will take place on August 19, 2023
