James Francis Leonard

James F. Leonard, age 40, of Lynn died suddenly Monday July 17th in Methuen. Born in Lynn he was the son of Elizabeth “Beth” (Hunter) Leonard of Sarasota, FL and the late Michael T. Leonard, who passed away on March 31, 2023, formerly of Lynn. He attended Lynn schools, and graduated from Lynn Public Schools. James was employed as a chef for several North Shore area restaurants. He was a very devoted and loving father to his two children. He loved fishing; his favorite fishing hole was floating bridge in Lynn with his daughter Jaelynn. James had a great sense of humor, was a loyal friend, and was very intelligent.

In addition to his mother he is survived by one daughter Jaelynn Elizabeth Leonard, one son James Francis Leonard, II. He was greatly loved and will be missed by his many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, friends. He was also brother of the late Francis A. Leonard who passed away in 2015.
