George James Teftsidelis

Mr. George J. Teftsidelis, age 94 years of Lynn died Thursday December 24th at his home after a brief illness. Born in Lynn he was the son of the late James and Mary (Lecatos) Teftsidelis. George attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical, Class of 1943. He joined the Navy in October of 1943 and served aboard the USS William D. Byron, the USS John Dickson and the USS Mindanao during World War II. He was employed by the City of Lynn in the Water and Sewer Department for many years until he retired in 1988.

George is survived by several close friends.

Service Details: Graveside services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery on Thursday at 11:00 AM to which friends are invited to attend. Military honors will follow, please follow social distancing guidelines for outside gatherings.
