Obituary

Dolores “Dolly” Irving-Gorynski, age 78, of Pebody, died Saturday Nov. 19th at the Ledgewood Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Victor C. Gorynski, with whom she spent 30 years together. She was predeceased by her son Scott Irving.

Born in Chelsea she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anastasia (Wozniaski) Mrozowski. She attended Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School.

Dolly was employed as a secretary at Ideal Transportation in Peabody for many years until she retired 15 years ago. She liked to go to the Torigian Center in Peabody to play bingo and enjoyed socializing with the other residents in the Peabody Senior Center. She loved staying at home and being with her husband.

Private Services were held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn, followed by cremation at Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flower please make memorial donations in Dolly’s to the VFW Post 1011 20 Stevens St. Peabody, MA  01960
