Deborah E. Marks

Deborah E. Marks, age 71, of Lynn, died Tuesday April 9, 2024, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by her family after a period of declining health. Born in Lynn she was the daughter the late Robert H. and Helen (McCarty) Marks. She attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class 1970. After graduating she was employed as an operator at New England Telephone in Lynn for many years, finishing her career as a clerk at Lucent Technologies, for several years until she retired. An avid sports fan, she enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Celtics and the Patriots. Deb loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews.  

Deb is survived by her two brothers Robert and his wife Laverne Marks of RI, Ronald and his wife Leslie Marks of Lynn, two sisters Elizabeth and her husband Stanton Rice of Rowley, Patricia and her husband Thomas of Lynn, several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.

Service Details: Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Monday April 15th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please make memorial donations in Deborah’s name to the Asthma and Allergy
