David M. Caroll

David M. Carroll, age 59, of Saugus, formerly of Lynn died Friday April 29th at his home after a lengthy illness. Born in Lynn he was the son of the late Thomas M. and Mary E. (Kiernan) Carroll. Dave attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1980. He also graduated from New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in Boston earning an Associated Degree in the Funeral Service Profession. Dave was a member of the Boy Scouts and belonged to Troop 80 in Lynn, where he later became Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster and was inducted into the Boys Scouts Order of the Arrow. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Dave was employed for several area funeral homes during his career; his last place of employment was at the Parker Funeral Home.

He is survived by his close friend Father John Kiley of Winchester, and many other lifelong friends and extended family.

Funeral Services: Visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Thursday May 5th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at St. Mary’s Church in Lynn at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
