Becky Louise Smith

Becky Louise Smith, age 59, of Lynn died Tuesday May 19th at Salem Hospital after a lengthy courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Daytona Beach, FL she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Ware) Smith. She moved to Boston as a young girl attended Boston Schools and graduated from Boston High School. She was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant, and was employed by Bayridge in Lynn and the Jesmond Nursing Home in Nahant. Becky loved to cook, enjoyed music, and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her friends who she affectionately know as Miss Becky.

She is survived by two sons Jonathan T. Smith of Maine, Michael and his wife Nicole of Maine, one daughter Nicole A. Smith of Lynn one brother John Smith of Columbia, SC, one sister Ruby Jean Bates of Brockton, ten grandchildren and one nephew Michael Kenneth Bates of Brockton. She is also sister of the late Ronald Smith

Service Details: Private visiting hours will be held at Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Wednesday from 11:00 – 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, followed by cremation at Harmony Grove Cemetery.
