Anne F. Avidor, age 85 years, of Lynn died Thursday Aug. 23rd, at Salem Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Haiti she was the daughter of the late Festus and Erima (Baptiste) Avidor. She was educated in Haiti, and received a nursing degree after she graduated from high school. Anne moved to Lynn in 1987 and has resided here ever since. She was employed as a nurse’s aide at the Deveraux House in Marblehead for many years. She was a member of the Tabernacle Evangelique De Louange Inc., where she was an active member and participated in Bible Study. Anne devoted her life to caring for others especially the needy in Haiti and her in Lynn. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by one daughter Anita Pierre Bonhomme of Haiti, one brother Thomas Avidor of Stamford, CT, two sisters Monneheureuse Avidor of Saugus, Yolande Avidor, of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
Service Details: Funeral Services will be held at the Tabernacle Evangelique De Louange, Inc. 7 Park St. Lynn on Saturday at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are prior to the funeral from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
