Ann F. Benjamin, age 89, of Lynn, died Wednesday Feb. 8th at her home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Alfred “Al” G. Benjamin with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Peabody she was the daughter of the late Stanley C. and Florence L. (Lindsay) Seaberg. Ann attended Peabody schools and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1952. She was an active member of the former Broadway United Methodist Church and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed candlepin bowling and was in a bowling league at Circle Bowl in Lynnfield. Ann loved watching the N. E. Patriots especially Julian Edelman, she also loved spending time with her family and friends at her camp on Great East Lake in Acton, ME. She was employed at the Hallmark Store in Liberty Tree Mall for many years until she retired several years ago.
She is survived by two sons Paul L. and his wife Nancy Benjamin of Acton, MA, Eric S. and his wife Marilyn Benjamin of Ludlow, two daughters Karin L. Benjamin of Lynn, Lisa J. Benjamin of Lynn, one sister Sandra Sanger of Peabody, one sister-in-law Joyce Seaberg of Beverly, seven grandchildren Todd and Ryann O’Neill, Liann Duyon, Renae Roy, Corey Patient, Alex and Alycia Benjamin, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Carl S. Seaberg and Karin Carlson.
Service Details: Ann’s visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, followed by funeral services at 3:00 PM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
