Shirley Ellen (Wescott) Derouin

Shirley E. Derouin, age 85 years, of Lynn died Tuesday August 22nd, at her home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Leonard C. Derouin with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Lyn she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ellen (Barr) Wescott. She attended Lynn schools. Shirley was a former member of the Incarnation Church.  She enjoyed knitting, reading and crochet, most of all she loved caring for and being with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son Donald Flint and his wife Lisa of Lynn, one brother Joseph and his wife Joan Wescott of Lynn and Naples, FL, three grandchildren William, Jon and Jared Flint, five great grandchildren William, Mark, Olivia, Fiona and Azalea Flint, and many nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late William J. Flint, “KIA in the Vietnam War”.

Service Details: Private memorial services were held at Pine Grove Cemetery on Friday Sept. 1st. Please make memorial donations in Shirley’s name to Care Dimensions 75 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA 01923.
