My sincere condolences to the family of Ron Baker. I knew Ron from our days of working together at First Data. He was a good man and as my colleague, Kevin Kilpatrick, mentioned, a master of dry sarcastic wit.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

It is so sad to hear that Ron was taken from us at such a young age. I had the pleasure of hiring Ron at TD and he was a great person who enjoyed life and his family. Even as our careers took different paths of the past year we stayed in touch, texting even two weeks ago. I will miss his positive encouraging ways and his sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

Message from The Rowan Family - Ohio Friends
February 23, 2017 8:38 AM

We are so grateful that we were able to meet Ronnie a couple years ago during my sons medical treatment while we stayed in Boston, MA. The Baker Family was so wonderful to all of us. The entire family opened up their home during the holidays welcomed us in and our children and their children were able to make it feel like we were right at home with family/friends that we knew for years and years! We were so thankful to be blessed with people like that! I cannot express my love, thoughts, and sadness for them during this difficult time. Even though we may live hundreds of miles away our home, hearts, and whatever we could do is open to the Baker Family to make them feel a little bit of happiness through this horrible tragedy and know that Ronnie is in a safe place and will be with them forever! Your loving friends from Ohio - The Rowan Family - Shelly, Karl, Brian, and Sara

Very sad. I worked with Ron. Our paths paralleled for 11 years, from Sovereign, to Santander, to TD Bank to Bank of America. He was a friend & colleague. I will miss his dry sarcastic wit. My prayers are with the whole family.

I'm absolutely heart broken to hear of Ron's passing. He was an outstanding man of high character, devoted to God, his family and friends, and his work. We worked together at Sovereign Bank and spent a lot of time calling on businesses and talking about life. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and appreciated his perspectives on life. No matter what we talked about, it all came back to family and treating people kindly. I know that he will continue to do God's work and watch over his family. Until I see you again my friend.

It seems not so long ago that I watched Ronnie riding his bike down Skilton lane in Burlinton with our dalmation dog peppy chasing after him. I remember he was about 10 and he loved to go fishing in the reservoir. As he grew he always found different spots wherever he was to go fishing. He really enjoyed it. He even managed to start his own business and sell fishing lures!!! He was a wonderful guy . I could not believe he was all grown up getting married and having children. He was a wonderful father. He was very involved in their lives. The other thing I loved so much about my brother was his wonderful sense of humor. When my mom was alive it was Ronnie or my other brother Jimmie who could really make my mother laugh. I was always in awe at how hard he worked. He brought the whole family over to visit with me not too long ago and he and Colleen were sitting together on my love seat and they looked really happy. And boy was I happy for him. He had a wonderful and beautiful wife, smart and meticulous children destined for wonderful things and he himself working himself up the career ladder. I am terribly saddened to lose my brother. I loved him so much and I am glad I always told him so. Rest in peace Ronnie. I will miss you and hold a special place for you in my heart forever.
