Richard Alan Burke, age 48 years of Malden died unexpectedly Sunday, May 27th. Born in Malden, he was the son of Jeanne (Burke) Kluska of Everett and the late Richard W. Hoffman. Richard attended Malden schools. He was a lifelong resident of Malden, and was a sub-contractor and mechanic in the Malden area. Richard very much enjoyed fishing throughout his life. He loved and adored his children and enjoyed spending time with them . He loved Harley's and long rides, rock music, and the challenge of fixing any type of engine , especially when no one else could. He also enjoyed barbecuing and was very generous with his time .
In addition to his mother he is survived by his twin children , Richard Alan Burke, Jr of Melrose, and Kerrianne Burke of Melrose , the mother of his children Marguerite Wallace and her two children James and Shannon Wallace all of Melrose, one brother Richard and his wife Lisa Hoffman of Malden, two sisters Karen and her husband William Parsons of Salem, Terri and her husband Phil Coyne of Billerica, one uncle Robert Burke of Malden, his godmother Phyllis Musker of Malden, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Robert (Bobby ) Hoffman of Malden.
Service Details: Visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service
at 6:00 PM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please make memorial donations in Richard’s name to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
