Manuel Gilbert Mendonca

Manuel G. Mendonca, age 63, of Revere, died Wednesday Dec. 25th  at Whidden Hospital, after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Dorothy M. Stanley with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.

Born in the Azores, Portugal he was the son of the late Francisco and Maria Mendonca. He was educated in Portugal. Manny was employed as a dart maker at Dart
World in Lynn until he retired. He loved spending time and caring for his grandchildren. He loved the ocean and enjoyed swimming at Revere Beach. He enjoyed watching the Patriots and Red Sox, walking his dog Megan, going to Portuguese Festivals, and soccer games. He was a very caring, loving and kind person and will be missed by hios family and friends.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 daughters Sabrina and Tara L. Stanley both of Revere, six grandchildren Yandel, Merley, Jayden, Javian and Brayden Stanley all of Revere, Indalena Merley Covan of Revere, and many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn.
