Linda L. (Doward) Fortin

Lynn MA- Linda Louise (Doward) Fortin, 68 completed her journey here on earth and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 19, 2018Linda was born in Lynn MA on April 13, 1950 to the late George H. Doward and Rita E. M. Doward. She was predeceased by her brothers George and John Doward, her sister Carol Hudson and her son Shawn Smith. She was a 1968 graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She is survived by her son Albert Fortin, his wife Echo and grandson Ruger. Her son Jamison Fortin. Her daughter Emily Smith Blaney and her husband Ryan and grandsons Porter and Oliver. Her sisters Francine and Bonnie Coogan. Her Godchildren Peter Coogan and Brandi Clark. Her nephew John Doward. Her lifelong friends Eva Owens, Eva’s son Shawn, Darlene Nardone and Frank (Butch) Rehal. Linda was a licensed foster parent in MA & NH to many children throughout the years. She is survived by her daughter Maggie Anderson and her husband David, grandchildren Amber, Madison, David and Joseph. Her daughter Liz Owens, and grandchildren Ashley and Briana. Her daughter Theresa Banks and her husband Phil, grandchildren Tiffany, Karissa, Isaiah, Jasmine, Destiny and Shawnee. Her daughter Janice Bowman, and her husband Joe and grandchildren Todd, Joshua, Austin, Isaac and Ava Elliot..The family wishes to thank all of Linda’s friends and all the medical personnel that cared for her in her time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to assist the family with the funeral expenses are to be made to any Citizen’s Bank branch. Cash is also accepted using the same account information.  A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on August 4, 2018 at New Life Assembly of God, 84 Nottingham Rd, Raymond NH.
