Kevin Charles Grella

Kevin C. Grella, age 56, of Lynn passed away, surrounded by family on Saturday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Lynn he was the son of Margaret Ann (Ramsdell) Grella of Lynn, and the late Robert J. Grella. Kevin’s commitment, pride and love for his son’s Anthony R. and Matthew R. Grella were abundantly visible and more than filled his life. But, Kevin was much more; He was a beloved son and brother that could always be called on. He was a loyal and true friend to many. He was a skilled sub-contractor whose work will decorate the North Shore area for years to come. He was an avid sports fan with an undying devotion to all the Boston Sports teams. Like his grandfather and father before him, he loved watching the thoroughbreds run…it’s pretty good odds that he has found them at the track already. He was loved.

In addition to his mother he is survived by two brothers Robert J. Grella of Beverly, Michael T. and his wife Cecilia Grella of Saugus, three sisters Kathleen A. and her husband Rusty Porter of Lynn, Deborah A. Grella and her fiancé Patrick O’Connor of Salem, Karen M. and her husband Harold Watler of Lynn, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Service Details: Kevin’s Funeral will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn Thursday at 10:00 AM. to which relative and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
