Jean L. Valliere, age 81 years, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn died Sunday March 17th, at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center after a brief illness. She was the lifelong companion of the late Richard Boyden.
Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Ernest L. and Rena M. (LeBlanc) Valliere. Jean attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1955. She was employed as a Bank Teller at Essex Trust in Lynn for many years, she also helped her companion Dick run All Star Bowling Lanes on the Lynnway for over 20 years. She enjoyed skiing and bowling, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Celtics and the Red Sox. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn until moving to Peabody five years ago.
She is survived by four cousins Donald Kenneally of Medford, Roger Kenneally of Seminole, FL, Carol and her husband Edward Reagan of Lynn, and Thomas Philbrook of West Peabody.
Service Details: Visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Wednesday from 11:00 – 1:00 PM followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 PM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Cremation will follow at Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem.
