Irene D. Waldron

Irene D. Waldron, age 75 years, of Wakefield, NH, formerly of Lynn died Thursday June 14th, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late William O. Waldron.

Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Patsy and Irene (Coogan) Votano.  She attended Lynn schools. Irene was employed as a Lab Technician at the General Electric, Riverworks Plant until she retired in 1989. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters Lisa and her husband Chucky of Peabody, Darlene Pelosi of Lynn, two brothers William and his wife Sandy Votano of Lynn, Delfino Votano of Swampscott, two sisters Joy and her husband Sonny Guthro of Naples, FL, Virginia Votano of Lynn, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Shawn W. Waldron and Irene “Dolly” Henderson, and sister of the late Paul, Pat and Richard Votano.

Service Details: Visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Tuesday from 10:00 – 12:00 PM, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Lynn.
