Fred Lee Myrick

Fred L. Myrick, age 81 years died Saturday Nov. 4th at Salem Hospital after a brief illness.  Born in Macon, Georgia he was the son of the late Prince E. and Cora (Walker) Myrick. He attended schools in Macon, Georgia. Fred was employed for as a machinist at the General Electric in Lynn for 35 years.  He is survived by three sons Freddie, Tyrone and Lester Myrick all of Macon Georgia, two daughters Joy Myrick of Atlanta, Georgia, Christine Myrick of Macon, Georgia, one sister Ethel Lockett of Milledgeville, Georgia, his companion of 25 years Becky Smith of Lynn, her children Jonathan T. Smith, Nicole A. Smith, and Michael Smith, her grandchildren Aysia O. Smith, Kaylee L. Smith, Isaac M. Smith, and Trinity I. Smith, four step children Christopher Gambale, Claudia Bryant, Sidney Gambale, Gary Gambale,

Service Information: Fred’s visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Tuesday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be private. Cremation will follow at Harmony Grove Cemetery in Salem.
