Frances L. Richard, age 91 years, died Sunday May 27th at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Richard, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in Dover, NH she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Helene M. (Deshaies) Noel. She attended Lynn schools. She worked at Lynn Hospital as a nurse’s aide for several years. Frances was an active member of the former St. Jeans Church in Lynn, and Sacred Heart Church. She also volunteered at Bingo at St. Mary’s Church for several years. She was a very social person and enjoyed helping people, playing bingo and traveling. She was an avid Red Sox fan her favorite player was Dustin Pedroia.
She is survived by two sons Raoul and his wife Karlene Vincent of Roslindale, John and his wife Jolene Richard of Tyngsboro, one daughter Linda and her husband Thomas O’Keefe of Saugus, six grandchildren Keira and Katana O’Keefe of Saugus, Joshua and Jordan Richard of Tyngsboro, Doris and Marc Vincent of Roslindale, one brother Ronald Noel, four sisters Lorraine Bernardi, Patricia Jackson, Jacqueline Verrington, Madeline Galvin and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Richard Noel, Robert Noel, Albert Noel and Paul Noel and her sisters Gertrude Gillespie, Pauline Noel.
Service Details: Funeral services will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Friday at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
