Wiliam Elliott Obituary

William R. Elliott, age 72, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn died Tuesday Dec. 5th at the Kaplan Family House in Danvers after a lengthy illness. Born in Revere he was the son of the late William Henry and Muriel E. (Robinson) Elliott. Bill attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1969. He was employed as a counselor at Greater Lynn Mental Health for many years, and was also employed at Steve’s Market in Salem as a clerk until he retired. Bill enjoyed photography and bird watching, and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by one son Jason and his wife Tracy Elliott of Derry, NH, two daughters Tina Elliott of Peabody, Tonya and her husband Christopher Hernandez of Tewksbury, one brother Kerbert Elliott of Peterborough, NH three grandchildren, Stephanie Johanson of Pelham, NH, Amber Howington of Peabody, Danielle Flanagan of Wakefield, two great grandchildren Odin Johanson, Erin Flanagan, and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Albert Collins.

Service Details: Private Funeral Services were held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn. Cremation followed at Puritan Memorial Park. Please make donations in William’s name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House 78 Liberty St. Danvers, MA 01923.
