Sharon Lee McAvenia
July 9, 1964 ~ June 10, 2017 (age 52) 52 Years OldSharon L. McAvenia, age 52 years, of Beverly, formerly of Lynn died Saturday at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Richard J. McAvenia, and Mary (Cook) and Robert Pigott of Lynn. Sharon attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1982. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Curry College, Class of 1986. She was employed as an administrative assistant at the Robert W. Pigott Co Inc., and more recently for Robin Kramer Garden Design.
She is also survived by two sisters, Debra M. Nichols of Seabrook, NH, Robin M. Kramer of New York, NY, five nieces and nephews, Robert B. Gilchrist of N. Reading, MA, Kevin R. Gilchrist of Seabrook, NH, Jennifer E. Tullercash of Seabrook, NH, Jason R. Kramer of New York, NY, Madison J. Kramer of New York, NY, two great nieces Kayla Tullercash, Emmalin Gilchrist, and her ex-husband and best friend Roger Tremblay of Rowley. She was also sister of the later Richard “Ricky” J. McAvenia II.
Service Details: Services from the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Thursday at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Pius V Church at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
