Frank J. Glebus, age 87 years, of Lynn died Saturday Dec. 9th, at his home surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Audrey E. (Benefield) Glebus, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn he was the son of the late Frank and Sophie (Stazinski) Glebus. He resided and attended schools in Saugus. Frank joined the Navy and served during the Korean War. He moved to Pennsylvania and farmed for several years until moving back to Lynn in 1968. He was employed as a Chef at several area restaurants, including The Ship, The Red Coach Grille, and he retired from El Torito’s Restaurant. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, and the Boston Baptist Social Union in Boston. Frank was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots and the Red Sox, and going to the Lynn Mariners games at Frazier Field. He loved spending time with his family and friends.  

He is survived by two daughters Lois N. Chea of Gainsville, FL, Nancy I. Pelletier of Lynn, one son Francis Roussin of Townsend, two brothers Edward Glebus of Plymouth, Robert Glebus of Clearwater, FL, one sister Mary Kaminiski of Saugus, six grandchildren John Chea, Samantha Chea, Karen Dandero, James Dandero, Joseph Roussin, Bruiser Pelletier, two great grandchildren Jacklyn Roussin, Brooke Bogart, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Virginia “Ginny” Dandero and Barbara Vicente.

Service Details: A Memorial Service for Frank will be held at the First Baptist Church Lynn on Saturday, Dec. 30th, at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Friday, Dec. 29th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Please make memorial donations in Frank’s name to The First Baptist Church 7 Park St. Lynn, MA  01902.
