B. Beverly Bourke

B. Beverly Bourke, age 74 years, of Beverly, formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly at her home Monday after a brief illness.  Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Rita (Lebel) Bourke. She attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. Beverly was employed as an Insurance Agent at Liberty Mutual for many years until she retired. She volunteered at Beverly Boot Straps and the Beverly Senior Center. Bev was a member of the Sew and Go group, and helped with the Scandinavian Fair at the Community Covenant Church. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and doing crafts. 

She is survived by close friends Arthur Jorgenson of Peabody and the late Ginny Jorgenson, Amy and Alan Cassidy of Peabody, and Adam and Tracey Jorgenson of Peabody. She also leaves behind many close friends, including those at her Condominium Complex, Community Covenant Church and where she volunteered in Beverly.

Service Details: Funeral Services will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Friday at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
